Gerald Anthony's Story... 

My spiritual birth was in 1980 at the age of 18. When you are young and love falls apart you think it is the end of the world and that there's no one else you are supposed to be with. I was contemplating suicide. I seeked help from my Priest's, I was Catholic at that time in my life. They didn't seem to take me seriously, maybe because I was still young. I needed more than just religion. I looked up that night and said, "God, if You are real I want to know it!" It was getting late and I drove to my best friend's house. He wasn't there. However, his mom has been trying to witness about her Jesus, when visiting my friend. I wanted to give up on life. She started sharing and for some reason I started hearing. Now I know it was the Holy Spirit tugging at my heart. The Scriptures seemed to pour out of the Bible when she pointed to them. My heart heard, I fell to my knees and was literally crying. I  rarely cry. As my friends mom prayed over me and so did her daughter. It's not about feelings. But, it felt like this ugliness was pulled out of me. And then, a calm, enveloping embrace filled my heart. I challenged God that night and He answered. He will reveal Himself if you open your heart and believe. My life since that night I changed forever and I knew God was real. Jesus became alive within me. From that day forward I know He was in me and I in Him! I've served in many various ministries throughout my life. I knew there was more to my Christian walk for a long while. One evening my wife and I were feeding on Spiritual food in Hebrews, Galatians and Romans when the Holy Spirit revealed GRACE to us, in a way we hadn't experienced since our heavenly birth's. It felt like a veil was lifted and our spiritual eyes were open. We started seeing through the lens of grace. We knew what grace meant, however, it wasn't a feeling but this truth burned in our heart's at the same moment . Once you see this truth, it can't be unseen from then on. The Scriptures appeared to becoming fresh with the sweet fragrance of Jesus' Spirit, new revelation! Then the Holy Spirit continues to reveal more and more. Many think they know it all! If someone else says that they do, run far from them!  To my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, the next wonderful miracle God did was bringing my wife Betty, into my life. It has been a blessing ever since.

You must realize that God is not part of our life, He is our life!

Betty's Story...

My story was much different than my husbands. I was Catholic at that time. I did get engaged to Gerald Anthony who is now my husband. My mom and family made it difficult on my relationship with him it was starting to eat away at me. I was in my early fifties at that time and lived with my mom. I felt like my mom was treating me like a teenager. My friends and co-workers noticed that I was having a hard time with this situation at home. I was about to have a nervous breakdown. When I was with Gerald, I would literally cry with him. That seems the only thing I could do was cry. One night I was having a crying session of mine in Gerald's arms. The way my mom and some of my siblings were treating him was heartbreaking. They said that our relationship wouldn't last. (That was almost 13 years ago). I asked him why he was taking this so peacefully and didn't argue when confronted by them. He said that he had the Lord in his heart and life. I told him I wanted what he had. He lead me to the Lord that evening. I cried this time from overflowing joy. This was in 2013 in the fall. My life took a flip! The next day my mom's rude comments about the "Pastor" as she referred to him then, and my co-workers stunned to see a big change from the day before. They said that I was glowing! I told them why. My boss, the principal, at the time, had me go to her office to get the story of what made the drastic change. From gloomy one day to radiant the next. I explained that I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. She gave me the biggest hug ever. This caught me off guard. After our caring embrace, in spoke to my co-workers who are Christians to share the joy. My life from that day forward has been a blessing. We do have our ups and downs in life but with Christ I have the victory.
