~~~ FORGIVENESS ~~~
"Real Forgiveness Is Total Forgiveness!"
Most believer's have no trouble accepting that Jesus forgave others completely. The friend at church. The stranger across town. The Apostle Paul, who persecuted Christians before becoming one of the greatest voices of the gospel. But when it comes to our sins, something shifts. We think...You don't understand what I've done. Suddenly, the cross that was enough for the whole world feels insufficient for one person - YOU! But Scripture is clear. Forgiveness in Christ isn't gradual or piecemeal. There is no middle ground. You cannot be partially forgiven. You're not forgiven "so far." (See Hebrews 10:10, 14).
Forgiveness doesn't happen sin by sin. It happens all at once. Completely you may be wondering, "what about confession?" Confession means agreeing with God- affirming what He says about sin and about who you are in Christ. You are forgiven by the blood of Jesus, not by scrubbing yourself clean with apologies (see Ephesians 1:7). The next time you're tempted to think your sins can't possibly be fully forgiven, shift your gaze to the sufficiency of the Savior's sacrifice.
"JUST THINK ON..."
1. How must sin does it take to be a sinner? One. No. Zero. We were born into sin because of Adam's sin.This brought death and suffering to humanity.
2. How many righteous acts does it take to be righteous and holy? One. No. Zero. You must be born-again of the Father to become holy and righteous in Christ by faith alone!
Always remember, believer that you are holy and righteous by birth, not by behavior or attitude. This is why you must be born again!
"Live your new identity in Christ!"
